On October 30th, we were fortunate to enjoy a unique event that combined tradition and fun: a Halloween party combined with a typical Magosto from Bierzo, known as Magosteen. The celebration attracted people of all ages, who were able to enjoy a magical night filled with unforgettable activities.
The event began with a tribute to the flavors of the region. The roasted chestnuts, a central element of the Magosto, filled the air with their distinctive aroma. Traditional delights were also offered, such as “bollos preñados” (stuffed buns), boiled potatoes accompanied by traditional sauces, and the ever-popular “buñuelos,” sweet treats emblematic of All Saints’ Day. It was a culinary experience that connected attendees with the cultural roots of Bierzo.
But it wasn’t all about food. The organizers arranged dynamic activities to ensure everyone had fun. An exciting treasure hunt turned both kids and adults into explorers for the night, while an epic laser tag battle allowed participants to release some adrenaline and enjoy healthy team competition.
