Amenities and facilities
Rooms
Rooms are equipped with a writing desk, office chair, bed, en-suite bathroom with shower, and walk-in closet. The university will provide a duvet, but students must bring their own bed linen and towels. Rooms are located on the first and second floors. All have external windows and are well-lit.
Dining room
The dining room is spacious and its large windows provide good lighting. It is one of the Colegio Mayor’s most beautiful rooms. It opens onto our outside spaces and connects directly to the kitchens.
Gym
The gym is in the basement and has direct access to our internal courtyard and the other sports facilities. This means that students can enjoy inside and outside sports with ease. Facilities include equipment for cardio, strength, and suppleness training.
Self-service laundry
Students will be able to wash and dry their clothes using coin-operated machines. All accomodation floors have a laundry chute that goes straight to the ground floor.
Study room
The study room is one of the facilities our student body make best use of and is often used for group work. It overlooks the sports facilities and is close to nearby communal areas making it easy to take a break and socialise.
Games room
The games room is on the ground floor, close to the entrance hall. It is a space for fun where students can enjoy their leisure time.
Lecture theatre
A large, versatile space equiped with advanced audiovisual facilities. It is ideal for conferences, presentations, and cultural events. It has the capacity to accomodate a large audience comfortably.
Parking
An area reserved for residents and their visitors to park. There are a large number of spaces, 24-hour security and it is fully accessible for those with limited mobility.
Veranda
Covered area at the back entrance to the Colegio Mayor. It provides a comfortable, protected transition between inside and outside areas and is an ideal place for socialising.
Internal courtyard
An open space that allows natural light into the building’s internal communal areas. Well-ventilated and illuminated, this area is ideal for relaxation.
Padel court
Sports facility equipped for padel tennis. It boasts a regulation compliant surface, good lighting and protective fencing. Here, residents have the opportunity to stay active and enjoy sport.
Basketball and volleyball court
Multifunctional area for the practice of either sport. The court is properly marked and equipped with baskets and nets, as well as having lighting for playing at night.
Urban garden
A space to grow plants and vegetables. It encourages students to think about sustainability and take part in eco-friendly activities, learn about urban agriculture, and enjoy fresh, locally grown produce.
Chill out zone
Relaxation area with comfortable seating and cozy decoration. This peaceful environment is the perfect place to rest, socialize or study.
Charging points for bicycles and electric scooters
Stations for recharging electronic devices and electric vehicles. This way residents and visitors can keep their devices charged and support sustainable mobility.
Director’s suite
Offices and private areas reserved for the Colegio Mayor’s director. The hub of all the Colegio Mayor’s management and administration activities this is a zone with workspaces, as well as places to meet and rest.
Administrative centre
A suite of offices dedicated to the day-to-day administration and management of the Colegio Mayor. This centre deals with administrative tasks, provides a help-desk for residents and visitors, and coordinates the Colegio Mayor’s activities and services.
